ALLEN YU
Allen Yu (b. 1998) joined the studio at Center for Creative Works in 2020. Primarily working in colored pencil and marker on paper, his drawings are vibrant and technically precise. Some favorite subjects include fruit, SEPTA buses, gnomes, and candy. In his spare time, Yu collects brochures
and schedules, enjoys reading, drawing, and taking SEPTA. Yu is a self-described autistic artist who loves to laugh at everything, including the negative. He lives in Bucks County, PA with his family.
Yu's work has been featured at the Outsider Art Fair in New York, and will be featured in CCW's booth at NADA NYC in May 2023. His drawings are currently consigned in the Art Ability collection at Bryn Mawr Rehab and Summertime Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
