Working with clay provides an opportunity for our participant artists to experiment with tactile creation. Whether developing fine motor skills through hand-building techniques or creating unique motifs for surface design with professional glazes, artists expand their range and repertoire through clay. Our artists create functional products, fine art, and sculptural works.

We work with earthenware, terracotta, stoneware (and soon) raku clay bodies. We foster the development of a range of building techniques: coil, pinch, slab, wheel, slumping, draping and slip-casting. A range of color and decoration techniques is encouraged: Nerikomi, Agatework, Mishima, Sgrafitto, and transfer glazing to name a few.

Our ceramics are available for sale and exhibition opportunities.
